Javed Ali
Born and brought up in Delhi, to a popular qawwali singer, Ustad Hamid Hussain, he is a student of the famous Ghazal singer GhulamAli.He started his career in 2000 and has given innumerable hits like Ghuzarish (Ghajini), Nagada Nagada (Jabwe met) and of course Jash ne baharan (Jodhaa Akbar) composed by SirA.R.Rahman for which he got various awards. Both the songs Ii have sung in this album are absolutely inspiring. Aasmaan Par makes you believe that in every being there is a universal energy and we should just flow with that, and in Sahma Sahma the description of how fluid our emotions are, is beautiful and explains the importance of the element water in our lives.
